3 Posts in 1 Week........didn't want to leave Navayah out!!!

I tried potty training Navayah a couple months back, but she would just go crazy when it was time to use the restroom. And if she had an accident she would come running and crying flipping out about the situation. I had never experienced this before, but it got to the point that she was holding it in so long she was just in so much pain. So I decided it wasn't worth all the stress on her and me and let it go. Well I decided this week was the week to attempt again. Because she knows exactly what to do, and shows interest, but when it comes time to "letting it go" it is STILL drama. You would seriously think she was giving birth. We have discovered that her jumping up and down and crying "owie, owie, owie" is our cue to get her to the bathroom fast, but then she will still sit on the potty and scream and cry until she just lets go. I feel so bad for her, but it is actually pretty comical. I have a short video clip of the "drama" that hopefully I can figure out how to get up on here later, but for now just enjoy the pictures of the happy times before "letting go"

Clowning around......@ the Circus

Saturday Anthony and I took Brayden to the circus. It was his first circus and he had TONS of fun, with lots of sugary yummies he normally doesn't get so I don't know which he enjoyed more the circus or the treats.

Swimming Lessons for Brayden

Well, now that Brayden is 3 we decided it was time to start him in swim lessons. Last Monday was the first night. He goes on Mon. & Wed. evenings. He is doing really well. He is a little stressed about going ALL the way under, and has quit a lengthy conversation with Ms. Robyn(swim teacher) before jumping into her arms. About not letting him go ALL the way under. I talked to him about it all day yesterday, and kept telling him his teacher would not let him stay under water to long. Still not convinced he would randomly come up to me throughout the day crying about how he did NOT want to go under. So being the GREAT parent I am, on the way to swim lessons, I bribed him with a pack of gum if he would jump in and go under. IT WORKED!!! And no, I don't bribe often if hardly ever, but I just really wanted him to realize it wasn't so bad. Here are a few pics of his first class. (I was the only obsessed mom with a camera)
