P.F. Changin' it.......YUM!!!

I don't know about you but I honestly love spending time with family. Over Christmas some girls in the family were talking about how relatively close we all live together, but yet how little we see each other. So we decided that needed to change. We talked about trying to get together once a month to go out to eat, shop, talk, laugh do whatever, but just do it together. Friday night was the first of hopefully many more times and memories to come. We all met (including my cousin Donna who flew in from MN. She works for an airline company so that is just one of the perks she gets)at P.F. Changs and ate LOTS of yummy food. After we had dessert we sat there for awhile and had great fellowship. I really hope this is something we keep up girls. I am still waiting for schedules in March, you all know I am open. Love you tons and am so glad you are all part of my family!!!

p.s. I am glad the rest of you that weren't there are part of my family too :)
LOVE YOU ALL!!!

1. Jake and Navayah talking about whether a kiss should take place.
2. Navayah deciding it should, and giving Jake a look he couldn't refuse.
3. BAM!!!! There it was just like that!!! Her first Kiss!!

Brayden and Bob the Builder underwear

We have been trying to get Brayden "excited" about keeping his underwear dry during nap. He has been completely potty trained for sometime now, but keeping his underwear dry while sleeping has been a bit more of a challenge. So we bought him SPECIAL Bob the Builder underwear because he is obsessed with BTB. He has actually done really well with not getting "bob" wet. Here in these photos he is showing off his special underwear proudly while sleeping.

Better late than never!!!

Sat. Dec. 1st was Brayden's 3rd birthday. It was kindof a two day celebration. Friday I took him to Toys R Us where they make his day a little more special with a crown, balloon and recognition over the loud speaker that it is his birthday. Then I let him pick out a small toy.

Saturday was the big celebration. Brayden LOVES Chuck E. Cheese. So we had his 3rd birthday party there with 10 other children who were mainly 2.5. It was a little crazy, but what great memories were made. I can't believe he is 3. I had a couple moments of teary eyes when I thought back on the many milestones he has achieved over the three years. He is the smartest, cutest, funniest, loving little man I know.(Just a little bias) We are so proud to have you as our son Brayden. We love you so much.

Turkey weekend events....

I hope everyone had a great Thanksgiving. We sure did. It was busy, but very nice. We came over to my parents house around noon on Thursday, and ate a delicious turkey dinner. Around 3:30 Anthony and I left for Indianapolis for the annual race car auction that goes on this weekend. We left the kids with my parents, and the rest of Anthony's family were already in Indy. It is kindof a nice long weekend where I can do whatever I want without kids. I haven't been brave enough to take on the day after thanksgiving shopping with two little ones so thanks mom and dad for keeping them. Anyways we did TONS of shopping (the ladies in the fam anyway) the mall is attached to our hotel so it was very nice. We did a little relaxing in the hot tub, and pool and just enjoyed sleeping in. I missed the kids tons, but was a very much needed break away. Here are just a few pics of the weekend. A view from our room, on the 19th floor, of downtown Indy. Angie, Shaylah and me on the carriage ride (it was very cold, but fun.) And a picture of my family before we left on Thanksgiving.
