Better late than never!!!

Sat. Dec. 1st was Brayden's 3rd birthday. It was kindof a two day celebration. Friday I took him to Toys R Us where they make his day a little more special with a crown, balloon and recognition over the loud speaker that it is his birthday. Then I let him pick out a small toy.

Saturday was the big celebration. Brayden LOVES Chuck E. Cheese. So we had his 3rd birthday party there with 10 other children who were mainly 2.5. It was a little crazy, but what great memories were made. I can't believe he is 3. I had a couple moments of teary eyes when I thought back on the many milestones he has achieved over the three years. He is the smartest, cutest, funniest, loving little man I know.(Just a little bias) We are so proud to have you as our son Brayden. We love you so much.

Turkey weekend events....

I hope everyone had a great Thanksgiving. We sure did. It was busy, but very nice. We came over to my parents house around noon on Thursday, and ate a delicious turkey dinner. Around 3:30 Anthony and I left for Indianapolis for the annual race car auction that goes on this weekend. We left the kids with my parents, and the rest of Anthony's family were already in Indy. It is kindof a nice long weekend where I can do whatever I want without kids. I haven't been brave enough to take on the day after thanksgiving shopping with two little ones so thanks mom and dad for keeping them. Anyways we did TONS of shopping (the ladies in the fam anyway) the mall is attached to our hotel so it was very nice. We did a little relaxing in the hot tub, and pool and just enjoyed sleeping in. I missed the kids tons, but was a very much needed break away. Here are just a few pics of the weekend. A view from our room, on the 19th floor, of downtown Indy. Well, I don't really have anything exciting to write about, but personally I think pictures are better than a bunch of blah, blah I would write about. So, here are some random pictures of the kids from the last couple of months.

My Little Angelina Jolie Wanna Be

Last Sunday, Navayah fell and hit her mouth on the ring around the bottom of the bar stool. It was big drama, but as you can see I am sure it hurt pretty bad. She kept running her tongue over her lip, and she wouldn't eat Sunday dinner for a long time. I'm sure it is one of the first of many "ouwas" to come. I told her she was to young to think about getting a lip injection.

Last evening was halloween so we got the kids dressed up. Brayden as Bob the Builder and Navayah was a pink leopard kitty. We headed out and trick or treated around the neighborhood for close to an hour.....that is a long time for a 1 and 2 year old. By the time we got back they were pretty tired and cranky. Here are a few pics of the event. I couldn't get a good family shot, it was close to melt down time. Navayah is also enjoying a WRAPPED sucker from her bucket of candy. It was a lot of fun, and I hope to have many more fun years of trick or treating with my babies. Enjoy!!!!

90th Celebration!!!!

This past weekend we had family come into town for my Grandmothers 90th birthday celebration. She really won't be 90 till October 27th, but this is when family could come and celebrate. Navayah's first haircut/trim!!!

Thursday, we took Navayah to get her first haircut. It was really more of a trim, but it was definitely needed. We took her to a place called Cookie Cutters where Brayden gets his hair cut. They have fun "chairs" for kids to sit on, and each station has a playstation player which can be used as a dvd player or a playstation. They got all the fuzzy baby hair trimmed up in the back and it looks good. The green car was the same seat Brayden sat in for his first haircut too.

Sunday after church we went and got something to eat at Chipotle, then we went and picked the kids up from my parents house (Anthony and I had gone to a haunted house with Landon and Pam Sat. night) And off to the pumpkin farm we went. The day was beautiful, and the kids had a blast. Here are a few pictures of the pumpkin patch. Hope you enjoy

TWO in the bed.....

The other morning I heard Brayden and Navayah talking and knew they were up to no good so I grabbed the camera and headed upstairs. I just had a feeling it would be picture worthy. They heard me come in the room so these faces are the reaction of excitement, mixed with oh no is mommy going to think this is as funny as we do. Well, I did think it was pretty funny and who could be mad at these two faces, but after two more mornings of this Brayden as been firmly told this is not to happen again. (Sometimes his hugs are a little to tight around the NECK, and Navayah lets us all know, with a scream, that she doesn't approve.)

"Miss Hollywood"

So, I know it has been forever since I have written anything, but I just haven't downloaded any pics. So here is something new. Just call me a desperate mom trying to wish longer hair on her daughter. I attempted to put her hair in pony tails, but they didn't last very long, but I thought they were adorable while they lasted.

Our sleeping beauty!! Navayah still loves to sleep!! She had a long day of pool lounging and I guess it just wore her out.

Our two precious babies at the zoo. We had lots of fun that day showing the kids all the different animals up close and personal. Since leaving the zoo Brayden has really been into imaginary monkeys and tigers. They have to be put in time out and in the corner all the time for hitting Brayden. It is pretty funny, but gets old very fast too.
